Developing the Young Workforce North East (DYWNE)
Responsibilities
  • Lead DYWNE and ensure judicious budget management.
  • Create and manage the delivery of an effective operational plan and communications strategy.
  • Drive team performance to agreed KPIs which correlate with positive outcomes for young people and employers.
  • Engage with stakeholders and partners including the Scottish Government and local authorities.
  • Prepare papers for the Board
  • Directly manage a team of 3 – 5 people with overall responsibility for a further 16 individuals.

  • Confident team manager with an aptitude for motivating people individually and as a high performing collective.
  • Astute, charismatic influencer who can evidence working across a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting a Board or similar stakeholder group.
  • Knowledge / interest in developing young people.
