Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively to develop and deliver the Port’s strategic plan, priorities, goals and values.
  • Provide leadership and governance to ensure the Port’s financial position is secure.
  • Set direction for Finance, Technology, Property & Contract, Legal & Procurement functions.
  • Contribute significantly to the management of the Port and provide management continuity in the absence of the CEO.
  • Represent the Port on committees of supporting bodies.
Strengths & Behaviours
  • Professionally qualified accountant with substantial finance leadership experience at board level / advising senior leadership.
  • Strong finance and commercial background and an understanding of IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Delivers results in a proactive, inclusive way, creating a culture of delivery, accountability and collaboration.
