A chartered accountant with a career spanning finance and operations roles in energy, healthcare, property, manufacturing and financial services, John ventured into the world of recruitment when he joined us in 2020.
During the initial part of his career he gained experience in banking, private equity and investment industries and pursues his interest in finance and wealth creation in investor, director and consultant roles.
John’s affinity for finance and his technical expertise are matched by high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills, attributes of an outstanding forward thinking finance director who can support and challenge high calibre teams.
In 2019 John co-founded Alba Equity, an investment network supporting early stage and high growth companies in Scotland.
John is an investigative and abstract thinker. Creative and highly analytical he reflects and researches problems, sorting through unimportant factors that tend to influence the decision making process. He has very high standards and expects the same of others.
